Hello Nurses! Especially new hires and new grad nurse, this is for you. My name is Helena and I have been an LPN for 7 years. In this time, I have become IV certified, ICP certified, and have a ton of management experience. At several different jobs it was my job to precept all the new hires, so I came up with a playbook to help me help you. This guide entails the typical day and tasks of a floor nurse from the start to the end of your shift and all the betweenness. This guide goes over admissions, discharges, transfers, AMAs, skilled charting and more. Step by step instructions on completing daily tasks.
