Little Bible Explorers: Moses and the Words for Everyone | Digital Edition
Are Bible stories for children too? Join Eli, Maya and Mum as they explore Moses’s instructions for sharing God’s law with the people of Israel. Moses writes down the law and gives it to the Levitical priests and Israel’s elders.
Moses tells them to read the law aloud at the end of every seven years, in the year of release, at the Feast of Booths. Men, women, children and people from other places living among them are to gather, hear, learn to honour God and carefully follow His law. Children who do not yet know these words are included too.
Original-series-style illustrations accompany this selected retelling. Separate modern family scenes encourage making room for one another, asking questions and learning a little at a time.

READING TOGETHER
This book follows Moses’s words of courage with his instructions for a future public reading of the law. It depicts those instructions, not the later feast taking place. Grown-up notes explain the seven-year timing, debt release, Feast of Booths and covenant context. The modern garden reading scenes are a separate example of learning together, not an equivalent to Israel’s gathering.
Children can listen, look, point, draw or use communication aids. Offer explanations, pauses and a comfortable way to participate. Honouring God does not mean hiding questions or obeying every adult request. The activities are invitations, not tests of faith or understanding. Adults should prepare seating and supervise suitable drawing materials.
Modern scenes are fictional; ancient settings and the characters’ appearance are imaginative. AI-assisted illustrations selected and reviewed for this edition.
