English

The story of the Caraffi surname: a northern surname of uncertain origin and what we cannot say about its meaning, the Caraffi family that heraldic collections remember, the earliest records from a village in the Ligurian hinterland to the Modena Apennines, the map of the Caraffis in Italy, where a few Caraffis live beyond the borders, and an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
