The pullover is worked from top to bottom and begins at back neck. The sweater is worked in St st with front cable panel consisting of two Honeycomb patterns. All front increases, both raglan and neck, are charted for each size. The sleeves are worked in the round in St st and finished with 1x1 Rib. Finally, two cabled elbow patches are knit, and once blocked, they are seamed to the sleeves.

Pick the size not based on age, but the chest measurement of your child.
My son is 6.5 and wearing size 8.

POLO&CO, Changthang (50% yak, 50% merino; 400m/437y per 100g); colorway: Brown; 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins.

Needles
3.5 mm / US #4 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #4 dpns.
3.25 mm / US #3 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #6 dpns.

Other
cable needle, 5 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving, stitch holders / scrap yarn.

Gauge
25 sts and 34 rows over 10 cm/4” in St st worked in the round with larger needles, after wet blocking.
Take time to save time - check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
