Ollala is a slightly asymmetrical triangle shawl worked sideways from the tip to the bind-off edge. The shawl is knitted mostly in garter stitch with a beautiful and eye-catching border on one side.

SIZES
One size
Top edge: 165 cm / 66”.
Depth: 60 cm / 24”.
The size is easy adjustable – make less / more pattern repeats to have a shawl smaller / bigger.

YARN
2 skeins of Woollala Soft Merino ( 100% Wool-Merino; 366m / 400y per 100g ).
Shown in “Teal” colorway.
Or about 700m / 765y of any other fingering weight yarn. You’ll need extra yarn for a tassels.

NEEDLES
3.75 mm (US #5) circular needles ( 80 cm / 32” long ).

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
1 stitch marker, row counter, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
22 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in garter stitch worked flat with 3.75 mm (US #5) needles, after wet blocking.
Obtaining the correct gauge is not necessary in case of this project, however all differences will affect the finished size of the item as well as the required yardage.
