I’ve always loved bringing flowers into the house, whether it’s a bowl of garden roses, pots of forced bulbs…or a flower-filled quilt. This quilt combines two traditional favourites, the Flower basket and the Nosegay, but is pieced in an innovative way that avoids inset seams and on-point setting.

MATERIALS:

62” x 67½” Throw Quilt

Part of 1 Jelly Roll or 27 2½” x width of fabric strips
2¾ yds background fabric
¾ yd border fabric
70” x 75½” Cotton Batting
4¼ yds backing fabric
½ yd fabric for binding
