Breathing Basics - Worship Singers Training
This Worship Singers training is a masterclass in all things breathing for singing. While it's called 'breathing basics' - it takes you through quite the comprehensive study of breath management for singing, why it's important and how to do it well!
In this 1 hour training class we'll be looking at:
- What it means to breathe efficiently for singing; What happens when we sing? Which muscles are involved?
- What do the vocal cords have to do with breathing for singing? What if we have a 'breathy' sound?
- What is the correct way to breathe for singing, so we never run out of breath before we want to?
Then we'll be doing some practical work on:
- Trying out the different 'types' of breath we can use as we sing.
- Breath exercises you can use in your warm up to prepare the system, and in your practise time to develop better breath management and increase breath capacity (Sing stronger and for longer!)
- Tricky songs for breath support. How to take a song and create a 'breath pattern' to get through it.
Whether you use this training in your own time to invest in developing your gift, or watch it as a worship team to study and develop together, I pray that it blesses you and equips you to sing and lead confidently to glorify God.
Thank you for your kind donation, which helps me to continue to create trainings just like this one.
