No. 242 was built by the Sandley Light Railway & Equipment Works of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin for the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. The locomotive was painted in a contemporary style of the Chesapeake & Ohio, who had provided funds for the Zoo railroad. Today the locomotive resides at the Hesston Steam Museum in Indiana, where it is operational.
