Cocktail Vertical Virality Analysis
Cocktail Vertical Virality Analysis
Most of your posts perform. A few actually break through. This report is entirely about the second kind.
We took the 68 Instagram posts in our database that hit a genuine viral threshold and compared them against the other 458 to find out what actually separates a breakout post from an everyday one.
What's inside:
- Whether sponsored content or brand mentions help or hurt a post's odds of breaking through
- What role skipping the call-to-action plays in your biggest hits
- Whether trending audio is actually doing anything for reach
- How a caption's opening line shows up differently in viral content
- Whether showing your face and using voiceover helps or hurts virality specifically
- Two format patterns worth watching closely, with an honest caveat about sample size
- Which spirits show up more (and less) often in your most-shared content
How it was built:
Drawn from Keyframe's full 526-post cocktail-vertical database, split into a 68-post "viral" group (Extended ER above 15% — the same threshold used to exclude outliers in every other Keyframe report) and a 458-post baseline. This is a smaller, more concentrated sample than our other reports, and we say so directly inside: every finding is framed as a hypothesis worth testing, not a guarantee, with sample sizes called out throughout.
