Unit 1 builds the foundation students need before beginning calculus. Students review essential function concepts, including function notation, domains, asymptotes, composition, transformations, and inverse functions. This unit is designed to strengthen the algebraic and graphical skills that will be used throughout the course and help students enter calculus with greater confidence and readiness.
