Once the dust has settled, and the emotions of the day begin to level out, it's a good idea to sit down and reflect on your competition...


This self-evaluation form contains sections to record:

  • Your competition name, location, and date
  • Your performance, position for multiple events or rounds
  • The weather (which we often forget and don't consider)
  • How you felt mentally, emotionally, and physically (pre, during, and after competing).
  • What you feel went well
  • What you feel can be improved
  • Your action plan leading up to your next event.


You can print this form to fill in after any competition or write directly into the PDF — it's up to you!


I hope this form helps you to reflect on your performance, and that it will also provide you with more thorough feedback when you look back on your season (at the end of the season).
