Introduction
The Digital Communication and Emerging Technologies course is part of our Basic End-User Computing Skills Programme, designed to equip students with essential digital skills for study, work, and everyday life. This course provides a solid foundation in digital literacy by introducing the tools, technologies, and networks that enable modern communication. Learners will explore digital communication methods, cybersecurity, privacy protection, emerging technologies, and responsible online behaviour. The course also examines how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Virtual Reality (VR) are transforming the way people communicate. By the end of the course, learners will have the knowledge and skills needed to communicate effectively, safely, and responsibly in a digital world.
