Halloween Art Activity Finish the Picture Creativity Challenge Fast Finishers
This Halloween Finish the Picture resource gives students partially started Halloween themed drawings to complete with their own ideas. Students continue the image, fill the page, and then color or shade the finished artwork. The imagery includes pumpkins, skeletons, bats, black cats, spooky characters and seasonal scenes.
It is a low prep, print and go October art activity for classroom teachers, art teachers, substitute teachers and homeschool families. Because the pages are open-ended, students can take the same starting point in all kinds of directions, so the finished work can be silly, spooky, cute or highly detailed.

HOW TO USE IT
For a quick Halloween art activity, students can complete one page in a single class. For a fuller Halloween art lesson, students can add extra details and backgrounds, try different art mediums such as crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, oil pastels or mixed media, and complete several pages over time.
It also works as a fast finisher activity, bell ringer, sub plan, creative drawing warm-up, brain break, morning work or art center task. As students turn a partial image into a complete composition, they practice imagination, creative thinking, visual problem solving and artistic decision making.
