I Don't Like Boys

I Don’t Like Boys

Track 3 from The Unstoppable Ruby LaRue (Album)

I Don’t Like Boys is the third track from The Unstoppable Ruby LaRue — Episode 003 of The Rock and Roll Rewind Project.

“I don’t like boys… but they like me.”

Ruby LaRue has grown up — and she knows exactly the effect she has on the men around her.

They arrive with flowers, wine, money and promises. Ruby answers with a wink, a joke and just enough encouragement to keep them coming back for more.

Playful, provocative and deliberately mischievous, I Don’t Like Boys captures another side of Ruby’s public persona. She is independent, confident and increasingly aware of her own power, turning the expectations of the men surrounding her into part of the performance.

Beneath the humour, however, lies something Ruby learned at a very young age: attention can be intoxicating. It can also be dangerous.
