Zahari

Zahari was born under a moonless sky in the Whispering Savannah, where the winds carried secrets through the tall grass. Unlike the earthy coats of her kin, her fur was pale as dawn; with the rare rosettes of both ocelot and snow leopard. The elders whispered she was “touched by the hidden gods,” for such markings had never before been seen.

Restless from the start, Zahari darted through canopies and stalked fireflies, forever questioning, forever chasing. Her boundless curiosity soon drew her beyond her clan’s patience. One afternoon, outside of her village, she spied a band of wandering monks crossing the savannah like wind through reeds, she followed, wide-eyed and filled with excitement.

At the Monastery of the Windstone Path, Zahari studied the flow of ki, learning that stillness can be as sharp as motion. Yet stillness never came easily to her. Where others found peace in silence, she found it in rhythm: the whisper of grass beneath her steps, the rush of wind past her ears, the percussion of her heartbeat in motion. So she set her path on a new journey to far away lands, across rough and harsh terrain, in hope to quench her thirst for knowledge and honing her skills further.

During her enlightening journey, she came across a village. Excited to experience what she has never seen before, she tries to approach but was halted by the entrance by guards. They informed her "her kind" was not allowed there due to multiple petty thefts. Discouraged but not broken, Zahari sneaks in with a new disguise but came with a catch.... it only turned her half human... thanks to a scamming wizard she met in a back alley.... but nonetheless..... her new adventure begins.
