Sant Pere del Burgal is an old Romanesque Benedictine monastery in the area of ​​the town of Escaló, in the municipality of Guingueta d'Àneu, in the region of Pallars Sobirà. It belongs to the territory of the old term of Escaló.

This monastery is mentioned for the first time in a precept of Count Ramon I of Toulouse, obtained by Abbot Deligat in the year 859, in which he grants immunity, while demonstrating that this establishment was already consolidated; possibly it was a foundation of Count Ramon himself.
