About Julia
Julia has been teaching yoga for 17 years, and earned her master's degree in Maharishi Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine in 2017. She returned to her hometown of Glasgow in 2020 after spending 20 years living in the US, where she worked as a radio presenter and later owned a small yoga studio in the Colorado Rockies. When she's not on her yoga mat, you can usually find her on a mountain or writing about her adventures as a travel and outdoors journalist. She's the author of two books: Restorative Yoga for Beginners and Living in Balance with Maharishi Ayurveda.
