A remarkable New Zealand life of passion, adventure and service.

Born during the Great Depression, Neville Wooderson went on to become a motorcycle racer, plumber, adventurer and practical humanitarian.

His journey took him from competing in the 1953 Isle of Man TT to working alongside Sir Edmund Hillary and the Himalayan Trust in Nepal. Neville led the team that built Khunde Hospital and contributed to schools, solar-heating systems, bridges, water supplies and other projects throughout the Khumbu region.

Across 350 pages and nearly 300 photographs, Riding Through Life also captures Neville’s family life, plumbing career, lifelong love of motorcycles and the friendships and experiences that shaped him.

Written by Neville Wooderson.

Compiled by Joy Sheehan and Mark Robbins.
