Maxims from John's Gospel

I love the New Testament of John's gospel as an eye witness to the life of Jesus the Christ. From the beginning, John's Good News about Jesus is different in his approach and perspective. His style and structure immediately portrays the life and mission of Jesus. He began with establishing the Word (Christ) as the Living Expression of God the Father from the beginning. This alone captures my attention. He states his purpose for recording his eye-witness account in chapter 20, verses 30-31, "And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."
