Hope and Healing

The theme for this issue, grew out of articles received following the Russian attack on the Ukraine, and the resulting trauma experienced by mostly mothers fleeing with their children. Protection, hope, faith, love and healing were essentials for us to work with, as well as keeping ourselves in balance to help the children in our care, and the articles reinforced this. 



Finding the positive in everything, providing a safe space and the time for children to play out what they see, hear and experience. Healing stories, puppet shows and hand gesture games, sensory integration ring-times and puppet plays which reinforce trust, are all elements which went into this issue.
