The purpose of this study is to find out based upon teachers’ perceptions if uniforms are effective within the school.  The study involves the faculty and staff of McKissick Elementary School from all grade levels or cross curricula levels.  Each of the participants completed a short survey designed to evaluate their perceptions of the effectiveness of school uniforms.  The results showed a correlation between teachers’ perceptions of the effectiveness of school uniforms as a means of keeping order and students’ misbehaviors regardless of use of uniforms. The results showed that there are some interesting and well-noted relationships between order and misbehavior through the use of the school uniform within the school. However, the teachers were neutral in their views about the school uniform as you will see in more detail within the research. The findings of the study are useful for administrators who may intend to implement school uniform policies within their schools and school districts.
