Challenging The Trinity
Here are some Bible verses that discuss Jesus' non-divinity:
1. Philippians 2:6-7 - "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness."
2. John 14:28 - "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."
3. Mark 13:32 - "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
4. Matthew 24:36 - "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
5. John 5:19 - "Jesus gave them this answer: 'Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.'"
These verses highlight the belief that Jesus, while divine, is not equal to God the Father in terms of authority and knowledge. They emphasize Jesus' role as a servant and his dependence on the Father.
