This is a 10-panel (plus 2 cup panels) Regency-inspired bodice pattern. It has a gentle curve as was fashionable in the Regency period (1795-1837). Sizes (UK) 8 -24 (US 4 - 20).
Note – no lacing gap is factored into this pattern. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!

This pattern also features in my pattern collection '200 years of corset design reimagined' - a cost-effective way of procuring lots of different inspiring designs from 1715-1915.

The corset length measures 41cm at the centre front and 43cm at the centre back. See the measurements in the photo above. Pick the closet under-bust size and amend the waist and hip. Different hip sections are given for -2'', +2'' and +4'' on the standard sizes. Instructions are given for a method for altering the pattern to size.

Instructions are given as to how to create a firmer cupped design instead of the soft gathered cup that this design is based upon. This methology uses an existing comfortable bra and masking tape to create a paper cup that can be cut to create 2 or 3 cup panels that are sewn into the contoured cradle.

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box.

It is recommended that you make a toile once you have tweaked the pattern for size – at this stage you can slice and spread or nip and tuck, and lengthen/shorten if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset. This is quite a long design so the bones may need to be cut short of the bottom to allow for ease of sitting.

Please take a look at my website www.corsetsbycaroline.co.uk where I have lots of information about corset making and where it is more cost-effective to buy this design (non EU countries only sorry).

There are no restrictions on the use of this pattern - use to your heart's content. I simply ask that you don't pass on the file or use it to, say, profit from a line of ready-to-wear corsets.
