Answering the Third Call
Mention science fiction, and many people think of powerful rockets blasting into space.
They are majestic. They are also only part of the story. Behind every rocket--behind every massive technological construct--there's a crowd of faceless workers. Some of them simply work behind the scenes. Some pay a more drastic price.
This ten-page science fiction story focuses on the families who build these great projects, the families and the price they pay.
You'll notice that there is no minimum price set for this story.
I'm trying an approach titled "Pay What You Want," because I trust my work. I know my stories are good. I also trust people to recognize that quality and pay what they think the story is worth. Also, I know how hard it is to judge new writers, so I want to make it easy for people to try my work.
