Stars in their Courses: Christian Advent and Christmas activity
Stars in Their Courses: A Family Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany Journey
37 cards. One long walk toward the light.
See below for pricing.
Advent is not a countdown. It is a season of lament and preparation, of admitting how lost we are before we can be found. Christmas is not one day but twelve, a slow unfolding of God made flesh in an unimportant place, to tired and frightened parents. And Epiphany is the whoa at the end of the road, the moment the wise ones arrive and the whole strange, wondering journey makes sense.
This kit walks your family through all of it, one card a day, from the first Sunday of Advent through Epiphany on January 6.
Each card pairs scripture, hymn text, or prayer book language with a question, a wondering, a small act. Some are for the youngest hands in the house. Some ask more of us. Many are for everyone together; they work best when generations sit down side by side. Cut the cards into strips, open one each day, and build a paper chain as you go, a visible, growing record of a household paying attention to the truth that is Advent and the astonishment which is Christmas.
