Cardinal cross stitch pattern

The cardinal is one of North America's most iconic birds, with it's unmistakable scarlet plumage and distinctive crest. Cardinals are also a popular theme for Christmas cards and decorations.

• Size on 16/32 count fabric: 2.8 x 2.9 inches (7 x 7.5cm)
• Threads: DMC stranded cotton
• Technique: whole cross stitch and backstitch detail on eye
