NEO281 lived 9 thousand years ago and was found at Kotias cave in Georgia. Genetic analysis revealed that he clusters with the Caucasus Hunter-Gatherers - a group of Mesolithic and Upper Paleolithic hunter gatherers that inhabited the Caucasus region.

With G25, this sample clusters with peoples of the caucasus.

I modeled this sample in qpAdm as a mixture of Dzudzuana, Ancient North Eurasian, and excess Basal Eurasian. According to the model, NEO281 is roughly 70 percent Dzudzuana, 25 percent Ancient North Eurasian, and 5 percent Excess basal eurasian.

I also modeled this sample in qpAdm as a mixture of 66 percent West Eurasian, 28 percent Basal Eurasian, and 5.6 percent East Eurasian.

I ran this sample through my trait predictor tool for DNA analysis.
