Hounding ships
By Kevin James Waldroup
Life after retirement was expected to be a period of tranquility and serenity. However, fate had other plans for Robert Giambastani, a former marine commander. Despite his firm resolve to never return to the sea, he found himself summoned back into duty by the President of the United States.
The memories of his father's tragic demise at the hands of the unforgiving oceans had haunted Robert for years. He had vowed to never set foot on a ship again, but an unexpected invitation shattered his hopes of escaping the past.
Reluctantly donning the uniform of honor once more, Robert encountered fellow soldiers who bore the weight of their own personal tragedies. Their shared experiences and unwavering determination inspired him to forge ahead. Little did he know that his unintended return to service might uncover the hidden truths behind what he had always believed to be a concealed conspiracy.
