She was sitting in a hospital ward holding her first baby. The child's eye had been removed. Cancer. Her tears were falling on that baby as she held her.

Nobody knew where she was. Nobody knew her name.

But God knew.

God went across London into the bathroom of a young believer and gave her a surname and a hospital. Nothing else. No address. No telephone number. Just the Adeyemi family, at St Bart's.

I went. And at the reception desk, a nurse looked up and said, "Oh, I'm the nurse for that girl. Her eyes were removed. I'll take you to her family."

When I told that mother how I found her, she could not stop crying. She said to me: "I have been crying out to Jesus. I knew he would not forget me."

There was no immediate change. But within two weeks that baby was totally healed, and the eye that had been removed was totally restored by the Lord. The last time I saw her she was seeing with both eyes.

That is why I wrote this book.

If you are in a season where the report has already been given, the surgery has already happened and the door has already closed — this book is for you.

You feel forgotten. Every baby shower, every Mother's Day, every christening confirms it. You have prayed until you have run out of words, and it seems the whole world is celebrating the very thing you are still waiting for.

Hear me. God has not forgotten you. God has remembered you.

And when God remembers a woman, everything changes.

He remembered Noah, and the flood receded.

He remembered Abraham, and Lot was pulled out of the fire.

He remembered Rachel, and her womb was opened and her reproach was taken away.

In these eighteen chapters I will show you what divine remembrance actually is — not God recovering a memory, but God entering your season. I will teach you how to declare His promises, how to praise from inside the problem, how to understand His timing without losing your mind in the waiting, and how to keep your identity while you wait.

Inside this revised and expanded edition:

  • 18 chapters, each with an anchor scripture, declarations of faith and a closing prayer
  • Real testimonies from a ministry that has documented over a thousand — the midwife who conceived in thirty days and named her daughter Veronica; the woman told she had premature menopause at twenty-nine who had twin girls; the woman of forty-eight who read her book in secret and gave birth at forty-nine; the woman in South Sudan who waited twenty-five years and received a book in a suitcase from a stranger
  • Your Bill of Responsibilities — the three things you must do to stay in the season of remembrance
  • Ten daily prayer points of thanksgiving and affirmation
  • A special prayer from Bishop Veronica over every woman who reads it

Your story is still being written. And one day soon somebody will write your name in a book like this one, and it will say:

And God remembered her.
