Hints :

• The textures usually work fine with blending mode set to (Linear Dodge), but you can try other blending modes like (Add, Screen, Lighten, Darken, Multiply) and see what works better with your footage (some modes work fine with bright footage and others work fine with dim footage).
• Use (Brightness & Contrast) effect in After effects to make the bright parts in the texture pop out more.
• Feel free to decrease the opacity of the textures to get the right look you want.
