This design tells a story of the yarn born on a tiny island in Scotland, in a house with a big sign “The Glenview”, home to Shilasdair yarns and dyers Kirsty and Simon. “Glen”, from Gaelic “valley”, is the source of inspiration behind this design. A peaceful landscape translated in colours and shapes of yellow grass and naked trees.

The sweater is worked top down in the round and features 2 sections of floral colourwork: around the yoke and along the hem. Yoke colourwork pattern is charted in three different versions to keep the colourwork vs stockinette proportions even across all sizes, and the orientation of the colourwork on the yoke is customizable. The body has a flattering feminine A-line shape and neck, cuffs and hem are finished with a wide elastic ribbing.
