Among the most prestigious and mechanically sophisticated wall timepieces ever created, the Three-Weight Vienna Regulator stands in a category all its own.

Unlike single- or dual-weight regulators, this triple-weight movement is engineered to power one of horology’s most coveted complications: Grande Sonnerie striking. Driven entirely by three dedicated gravity-powered weights, the movement executes a full quarter-striking sequence, chiming the quarter hours and restriking the corresponding full-hour count at every single quarter (:15, :30, :45, and :00). Suspended inside the glazed walnut case are three matching brass weights adorned with ornate repoussé foliate scrollwork, paired with a matching embossed pendulum bob that glides steadily above an authentic porcelain beat scale. Flanked by fluted baluster columns, carved spandrels, and crowned by a scalloped shell pediment, this clock commands an imposing architectural presence in any interior.
