8. DOE-MRO-008 — Multi-Response and Multi-Objective Optimization, Desirability Functions, Trade-Off Analysis and Operating Windows
Description
This Master Prompt focuses on experimental systems in which several responses must be considered simultaneously and improvement of one performance measure may worsen another. It extends conventional single-response DOE and Response Surface Methodology into a structured multi-response and multi-objective decision framework. Researchers are guided first to develop, diagnose and validate separate predictive models for each response and only then integrate those models into a transparent optimization procedure. This separation is essential because a mathematically attractive compromise cannot compensate for poorly fitted or experimentally unsupported individual response models.
