CuttingOpt.Pro - cutting optimization
CuttingOpt.Pro is a desktop application for optimizing linear cutting. It helps you calculate how to cut raw material such as boards, pipes, bars, and profiles into the required pieces with minimum waste, correct kerf compensation, and maximum material efficiency.
The interface is divided into two main areas: the left panel for entering stock lengths, required parts, and optimization settings, and the right panel for viewing the calculation results in multiple formats.
The program supports several cutting strategies, including Optimal, FFD, FFI, BFD, WFD, quantity-based sorting, and original sequence mode. In Optimal mode, the application automatically tests all available strategies and selects the best result based on minimum stock usage and waste.
You can work with visual cutting diagrams, text layout, JSON output, and a dedicated Work Order view that shows the cutting sequence step by step from left to right. This makes the software useful not only for planning, but also for practical workshop execution.
The application includes settings for blade thickness (kerf), minimum useful remnant, maximum waste threshold, selectable units (mm, cm, m), grouping of identical cuts, optional QR codes for pieces, and algorithm comparison in a separate results window.
Data entry is designed to be fast and convenient. The quantity fields can be adjusted more easily with improved controls, and the program supports importing data from CSV/Excel, exporting results to JSON, printing, and saving/loading full projects for later use.
Additional productivity features include Undo/Redo, light and dark theme switching, keyboard shortcuts, status feedback, and multilingual interface support for Bulgarian, English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, and Italian.
Depending on your computer, a short delay during startup may occur, especially in compiled builds. Please be patient — the program will start normally.
