Riding Centre Assistant Workbook

With this workbook your young volunteers can develop the skills and knowledge required to act as a volunteer yard assistant. This includes basic horse care; how to lead a horse and rider safely; and how to support the coach in riding lessons and activities. 

The workbook will help them to comply with the relevant health and safety procedures, including fire safety and wearing of correct PPE, and ensure yards can provide evidence of the training undertaken by any volunteers at their centre.
