Do you ever get annoyed that you have to post your work after you've made it?
You aren't a content creator, you're a creative and that's different.
What I mean by that is your goal isn't to find the most people or go viral. Going viral isn't the goal when you're promoting work that has nothing to do with algorithms.
The goal is to find YOUR people.
- You want to find the people who will LOVE your work.
- The folks who will be your few likes even when your content flops.
- The awesome ones who share your stuff no matter what.
- The people who advocate for you and help spread your work, even when you can't.
That doesn't mean chasing trends or trying to get as many views as possible. This is a different game and one I want to teach you because it works WITHOUT you having become a content creator but talking about the stuff you love with the people who love it.
The Find Your People Workshop is a 1 day experience where you'll build out an approach to social media (or newsletters! or podcasts) that bring the right people to your work without having to turn into a content creator.
Just want to know what it is, already?

Let's start with my story:
I had an Audible Original releasing in February and I needed to promote it. I didn't want to be that person posting "BUY MY BOOK" every day. You know who I'm talking about. Maybe you've been that person. I was that person! Even though I know better! I'm a marketing strategist! Making something is SO hard and so the idea of talking about that thing you are making feels like an impossible task!
Here's what happens when you only post about your creative work: people tune out. There's only so many times someone can see the same book cover before they scroll past it.
So what do I do?
I needed a strategy that would help me find my people WITHOUT just talking about the book all the time.
My Content Map
I built what I call an Infinite Content Map. It's a visual map of everything I could possibly talk about that could attract my people. I collected my interests, my experiences, the themes in my work using a process I'll teach you in the workshop.
It looks chaotic!!! But it's not! It's like my bible. Whenever I sit down to record I come to this doc and I'll have something to say ABOUT my project without spamming my project.
Build The Plan
From that map, I pulled out topics and built a content calendar for the book launch. When you look at it, you'll notice only a fraction of these posts are directly about the book.
The rest? They're about the things that would attract the KIND of person who would enjoy my book. I'll teach you to develop a schedule but I'm lazy and just put everything in a list and check them off as I record. I do mostly tiktok and instagram but you can do whatever!
Case Study: Craft-Along
I'm a BIG knitter and crocheter, and when I looked at my map I discovered a connection between my book, my love of fiber arts, and my perspectives on the importance of Black art. I created a craft-along project that wove all three together and it introduced my work to a whole new audience who never would have found me from a "buy my book" post.
Do you have to go viral? Nope!
A lot of my videos "flopped" but with each one I got a new follow, new page reads, or engagement in my work.
I consistently found new people who connected with my work. And it was enough for my Audible Original to land in the top 20 for weeks and so many people have followed me and read my books. That's what a content strategy built for creatives looks like. Not everything hits but everything builds.
All the sexy details:
What You Get:
- A repeatable framework you’ll use forever.
- Your own personalized idea map you can pull from any time (I’ve had the same one for over 6 years!).
- A 30 Day content plan for ANYTHING (tiktok, substack, social media, facebook, whatever you want)
- The confidence to show up on social without feeling like sh*t every time you hit post.
Who Is This For?
- Creatives! Writers! Filmmakers! Artists! Anyone who makes art!
- Artists, writers, service providers, educators, coaches—anyone who needs to show up online but struggles.

2Step 2: Build Your Map
-
3Step 3: 31 Day Challenge
This is exactly what you're going to build in this workshop.
During this 1-day workshop, you'll build your own Infinite Content Map and put together a 30-day content plan from it. You'll figure out your daily content themes, nail down your core topics, and leave with a map you can pull from for the next year or more.
No more staring at your phone wondering what to post. No more feeling like all you ever talk about is your book / album / show / collection. No more content that feels forced.
Just a strategy that feels like YOU that actually works.

Hi, I'm Shenee!
I’ve sold two Audible Originals, published a novel, built a Top 50 K-Pop podcast, and grown an audience of over 20,000 people across platforms. These days, I’m focused on making movies and developing original projects, especially stories starring people who look more like me.
Before going all-in on storytelling, I spent over a decade working in marketing and brand strategy. Now I blend both worlds to help other creatives building businesses doing whatever they want.
