This is a toe up sock design, using sock weight merino/nylon yarn (425m / 100g) with contract colour toe, heel and cuff.
It has two sizes - approximately 20-22cm and 24-26cm. The larger size used approximately 85m of contrast colour and 235m of main colour yarn.
The pattern works best in a semi-solid yarn, to show off the thistle motif, which is created using simple cables.
The sample socks are knit in the larger size, and were knit on a 2.5mm circular needle using the magic loop method.
