JERONIMO MESSENGER BAG
The Jeronimo Messenger Bag is the perfect unisex leather crossbody bag with a lot of compartments for organizing your belongings. There is a slip pocket on the front, 3 zipper pockets and the main compartment has a recessed zipper. The flap closes with a magnetic fastener. If you line the bag (optional) there is also a slip pocket on the inside. The strap is adjustable with a slider.
The Jeronimo Messenger Bag is a small to medium sized bag. The perfect size to carry your daily essentials.
The finished dimensions are approximately:
H 10” (25 cm)
W 7,5” (19 cm)
D on bottom 4” D (10 cm)
The Jeronimo Messenger Bag is a raw edge bag with no lining. If you want to line this bag and want to learn how to do this: there is an "add-on Lining" that you also receive with your purchase.
The pattern is designed for leather of approximately 2-3 oz.
PATTERN AND INSTRUCTIONS
The PDF pattern comes with full pattern pieces. Some pattern pieces are cut by dimensions. The pattern is tested by a team of testers.
The PDF pattern also has 30 pages of detailed instructions. There are more than 60 full color pictures to illustrate the instructions. There are a lot of instructions regarding sewing with leather.

REQUIREMENTS
- Leather 2-3 oz (0.8 – 1.2 mm) 24” x 35” (60 cm x 90 cm)
- 1x magnetic fastener 1/2” (13 mm)
- 1x 1” (2.5 cm) buckle (three bars)
- 2x 1” (2.5 cm) rectangle ring
- 1x 1” (2.5 cm) triglide
- 60” (1.5 m) 1” (2.5 cm) nylon webbing
- 33" (84 cm) 5# zipper tape of 1 3/16” (3 cm) width with 4x 5# zipper pulls
- Approx. 30” (76 cm) of 3/8” (1 cm) twill tape
- Teflon foot or walking foot, teflon zipper foot
- 1/8” (3 mm) DST (double sided tape) or leather glue
- ruler
- craft knife and/or rotary cutter
- chalk and/or silver pen
- Wonder clips
- rivets with rivet press and hole puncher
- machine that can sew leather of 2-3 oz (0.8 – 1.2 mm thick)
- leather needle 16-18 (100-110)
- sewing thread, preferable a wt 40 tex 70 thread
- some scrap pieces of Decovil light
