Presenter Push — Slide-In Photos & Videos for Final Cut Pro

Move your presenter aside while a photo or video slides in.

Presenter Push is a simple animated split-screen tool for Final Cut Pro. Use one Graphic Push slider to coordinate the presenter and the incoming image or video, instead of rebuilding both movements separately. Bring visuals in from the left or right while your host recording and audio keep running.

Made for a simpler weekly workflow

At our midsize church, we kept rebuilding the same presenter-and-graphic moves for weekly host videos. I made this to make that work quicker and simpler for our staff, then realized other teams might find it useful too.

It’s especially helpful if you’re newer to Final Cut Pro or just want a straightforward setup for talking-head videos, church announcements, presentations and tutorials. Experienced editors may save some setup time too.

How it works

1. Install the title once using the included START HERE guide.

2. Drag Presenter Push from Titles above your presenter recording.

3. Choose a photo or video for either side. It crops to fill the panel while preserving its proportions.

4. Adjust the sliders and add keyframes for your entrance, hold and exit. Fine-tune host zoom and horizontal/vertical framing independently.

Works as a native Final Cut Pro title. No Apple Motion purchase or helper app required. You supply your own footage and graphics.

Before you buy

For Final Cut Pro on Mac. Tested in Final Cut Pro 12.4 with 16:9 HD/UHD 30p Rec.709 projects; UHD layout checked using HD presenter footage. Other versions/formats are unverified. Media crops to fill, so edges may be cropped. Framing and keyframe timing are manual; there’s no face tracking or automatic headroom. The neutral Zoom minimum may display about 99.9%.
