Teachers love using this escape room to conclude the short story. You must read and discuss the text prior to putting students through this escape room. Trust me; the experience is much more fun when students have a solid understanding of the events that transpired in the story!
There are three breakout rooms for students to work through:
★ Plot Analysis- Review various elements of the plot.
★ Irony - Review irony in the text and differentiate between the 3 types
★ Central Idea - Students identify the most likely central idea of the story plus textual evidence to support it.
You must use Google Forms to utilize this escape room.
Some familiarity with Google Forms and Google Slides is required.
