Easter Art Activity Easter Finish the Picture Creativity Challenge Fast Finisher
This Easter Finish the Picture resource gives students partly started Easter-themed drawings to complete with their own ideas. Students continue the image, fill the page, and finish their artwork with color or shading, building imagination, problem solving and artistic confidence along the way.
Because the pages are open-ended, students can take the same starting point in completely different directions. Some will make sweet spring scenes, some will go silly, and others will add detailed backgrounds. Use a single page as a quick activity, or turn the set into a fuller Easter art lesson where students explore different art mediums.
WHAT'S INCLUDED (NON-EDITABLE PDF)

- 1 Teacher Overview Page explaining the activity, with ideas for classroom use
- 1 Lesson Plan Page with learning outcomes, lesson overview, materials, competencies, big ideas and discussion questions
- 1 Art Rubric Page for creativity, originality, effort, process and project execution
- 10 Easter Finish the Picture Drawing Pages, each with a student name line and drawing directions to continue the picture, fill the page and color or shade
HOW TO USE IT
Use it as an Easter art lesson, fast finisher activity, bell ringer, sub plan, creative warm-up, brain break, art center task, morning work or homeschool art activity. On busy spring days it can be a calm one-page task.
On other days, stretch it into a fuller art exploration with colored pencils, markers, crayons, watercolor, oil pastels or mixed media, more detailed backgrounds or several pages over time. Students make their own artistic decisions, extend ideas and create original artwork from a shared starting point.
