This book examines the major crises, conflicts, revolutions, and social transformations of recent decades through the lens of global politics. It explores how events, from the Arab Spring and the War on Terror to recent geopolitical conflicts, contemporary social movements, especially those of 2020 to 2021, Covid-19, and the wars in Ukraine and Iran, among others, may be connected by broader strategic interests, power structures, competing narratives, and hybrid war dynamics.

Drawing on perspectives that are often absent from mainstream discourse, the book analyzes the role of information, technology, psychology, behaviour and ideology in shaping public perception and influencing political and social outcomes. It also explores recurring historical patterns, including the principle of divide and conquer, and their relevance in contemporary geopolitical dynamics.
