I chose the title "Radical Machinist" NOT because of my demeanor, but because of the core meaning of the word Radical, which means "affecting the fundamental nature of something". If you are a machinist or programmer you would know that the fundamental nature of machining is that everything associated with machining is expensive!

Unless you are working as a programmer for a sizable company you are not likely to have an expensive copy of Mastercam installed on your personal computer, but you are likely to have Microsoft Office, and the Excel spreadsheet that comes with it. It was probably included with your computer when you purchased it.... if you're lucky!

If you aren't so lucky don't worry, Microsoft Office is available at a price of less than $100 per yearly subscription. Well worth it in my opinion!

My YouTube channel is all about the power of Excel and how it can be used for the creation of CNC programming processes and complex machining calculations. It is also about creativity, customization... and cleverness! Excel will simply amaze you with its diversity and capabilities.

My aim is to create and combine as many machinist tools as possible, making them available in one location so that the user can select and use these tools without having to pick up a calculator or having to remember and write down all the formulas and machining calculations that are necessary for a days work in the life of a programmer or machinist.
