White Lightning

White Lightning, created John Robert Beck in 2011, is an abstract artwork by John Robert Beck that blends sweeping translucent forms, muted geometric layers, and a radiant white vertical burst into a composition filled with movement and tension. Rich passages of red, green, violet, blue, and earthy tones drift across the surface like weather, smoke, or light passing through glass. The glowing central form feels like a sudden strike of energy, giving the work a dramatic sense of power while still remaining soft, painterly, and mysterious. White Lightning invites the viewer to experience abstract motion, atmosphere, and illumination in a piece that feels both energetic and meditative.
