A Place to Breathe

Pop-Up Breathwork Journey

A live, guided space to stay with yourself in the moments you usually pull back.

Inside this 90-minute session, you’ll:

  • be guided through a live breath + body experience
  • begin to notice what happens in your body in real time
  • practice staying with discomfort instead of immediately pulling away
  • experience what it feels like to not abandon yourself in that moment

Often, even within one session, people notice:

breath deepening

body softening

a little more space inside the intensity

From there, we begin to build something deeper:

the ability to stay

when it matters most

This is the first time, I listened to myself that deeply.

Danisha is pure medicine. Her soft, calming presence makes your whole system exhale.

She holds space with such care and asks insightful questions that gently guide you back to the truth living in your body and deeper awareness.

In just one session with Danisha, I experienced a meaningful shift and was able to see old patterns that had been quietly holding me back. Her work weaves somatic awareness and breath-based practices in a way that feels safe, grounded, and deeply supportive.

Danisha has a beautiful way of walking you back to yourself to love, and to a deeper sense of connection. I highly recommend experiencing her work.

I feel blessed to have met Danisha!

Her approach to Breathwork and Somatic Coaching is incredibly refreshing and effective. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her clients and their results.

I had not experienced this type of work prior to meeting Danisha. Any sense of doubt I may have had was quickly eliminated being in Danisha’s calm and welcoming presence.

Danisha is truly one of a kind! Her beautiful soul shines through her and her work and her energy is magnetic. I am so grateful for the experiences she has opened my eyes and mind to and the benefits I’ve received from working with her.

Thanks to Danisha, I’ve noticed an increased awareness of self and have learned healthy ways to work through things as they appear. If you’re looking for an intuitive, empathetic, compassionate person to do this type of work with, I highly recommend Danisha.

Meet Your Guide

Hey, I’m Danisha.

I’m a somatic healer and breath & body guide, devoted to helping women come back into their bodies, their truth, and find their way again.

My work was born out of my own long journey with people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and learning to listen to my body instead of pushing past it.

I don’t believe in forcing breakthroughs or performing healing. I believe in gentle, nervous-system led spaces where your body gets to set the pace.

I’ll be guiding this circle with care, presence, and a lot of respect for your process (and probably a cup of coffee or tea nearby).

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during breathwork?

Everyone's experience is different - so there's no hard and fast rule for what to experience and there are a variety of physical and emotional experiences you may move through. You may feel lots of sensation in your physical body like tingling, tightness, or hot/cold sensations. Emotions might also come to the surface - and with them tears might too. Some folks have even likened their breathwork experiences to altered states of consciousness, including intuitive messages. By the end of the session, you may feel elation and deep connection to life.

How does breathwork work?

Breathwork works by gently shifting how the nervous system and emotional brain are functioning, helping the body move out of survival patterns and into a state where it can process and release what’s been held over time. As you continue breathing, the thinking mind naturally softens and the body’s own wisdom comes forward, allowing long-held emotional and nervous system patterns to begin to unwind.

People often experience this as physical sensations like tingling, warmth, or gentle shaking, as well as emotional release or a sense of clarity. Rather than forcing anything, breathwork creates the conditions for the body to do what it already knows how to do: regulate, integrate, and return toward balance and connection.

How do I prepare for breathwork?

One of the beauties of breathwork is that you don't really need to "prepare" anything if you don't want to. But I know that feeling prepared is a way to feel safe when trying something new. So here are a few tips: Find a private place where you can lay down uninterrupted for the length of our time together. Let anyone else in your space know that this is a "do not disturb" time for you. It can also be nice to have the following close by: a blanket (in case you get cold), an eye pillow/folded up washcloth to cover your eyes (to help you get out of your head and into your body), and a pillow (I will ask you to make some noise - if you're concerned about that sort of thing, the pillow can muffle it).

What does the breath pattern look like?

It's a three-part breath that's both inhaled and exhaled through the mouth. The first breath is a deep belly breath that really expands the diaphragm. Before exhaling, there's a second inhale into the upper chest. Then the whole breath can then be released through the exhale. After the active breath portion, there's always a resting portion with a more natural, restful breath pattern through the nose or mouth.

Is breathwork safe?

Breathwork is generally very safe for most people, but it can be intense and emotionally activating. If you are pregnant, have a history of seizures, severe asthma, heart conditions, glaucoma, detached retina, or have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, please reach out to me before signing up so we can make sure this experience is supportive for you. You are always in choice during the session and can slow down, stop, or rest at any time.

Do I need experience with breathwork or meditation?

No experience is needed at all. You’ll be guided through everything step by step, and there is no “right” way to do this. You can participate as gently or as actively as feels right for your body.

What if I feel overwhelmed during the session?

You are always in control of your experience. If at any point things feel like too much, you can slow your breathing, return to breathing through your nose, open your eyes, or simply rest. I’ll also be guiding the group in ways that support grounding and regulation throughout the journey.
