Honka is a triangular shawl worked in two-color brioche. The size of the shawl is easy to adjust.

The name Honka means pine tree in Finnish. I was inspired by the strong roots of the Scots pine.

Finished size:
Small: 130 cm (51 in) wide and 50 cm (20 in) deep
Medium: 158 cm (62 in) wide and 60 cm (24 in) deep
Large: 175 cm (69 in) wide and 68 cm (27 in) deep

Yardage:
In the model shawl, color A is variegated orange, color B is blue, color C is yellow and color D is red.
Small:
360 m/394 yd or 90 g of color A.
400 m/437 yd or 100 g of color B.
Medium:
540 m/591 yd or 135 g of color A.
600 m/656 yd or 150 g of color B.
Large:
2-colored:
760 m/830 yd or 190 g of color A.
800 m/874 yd or 200 g of color B.
4-colored:
400 m/437 yd or 100 g of colors A, B and D each.
360 m/394 yd or 90 g of color C.

Needle size: 3.25 mm/US 3, or the size you need to make gauge
Gauge: 18 sts and 32 rows per 10 cm in two-color brioche unblocked, but gauge is not crucial. Row gauge is more important than stitch gauge.
