AGENTS OF THE EMPIRE

While Sidney Orebar is away in India, Britain faces a deadly new threat. Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli entrusts Moira Hunter and Liza Hart with the defense of the Empire after Professor McLeod gives them a mysterious silver oil that makes their exposed skin invulnerable to bullets and blades. Forced to fight lightly dressed to preserve the oil’s effects, the two agents confront the secret Chinese organization known as the Red Dragon, whose operatives unleash terror across London to force Britain to surrender Hong Kong.

From the docks of Limehouse to hidden underground palaces beneath Chinatown, Moira and Liza battle assassins, explosives, flamethrowers, and a masked Red Dragon leader determined to destroy Westminster itself. As chaos erupts during a royal ceremony at Buckingham Palace, the heroines become Britain’s final shield against national collapse.

The conflict leads through collapsing tunnels, burning streets, and underground sewers beneath Parliament, ending in a desperate struggle to stop a catastrophic explosion that could destroy London. At dawn, with the Red Dragon defeated and the Empire temporarily safe, Moira and Liza walk back through the misty streets of London knowing the war against Britain’s enemies is far from over.
