Edit 002 — Rosette Studies, from Blue Monday Edition. One rosette, worked through eight seamless repeat patterns in an Oxblood & Chalk palette (oxblood, deep wine, chalk, bone, charcoal). A companion to Edit 001 — Shape Studies.

THE EIGHT

01 Grand Rosette — oxblood on chalk. The twelve-petal rosette at full size, with small rosettes at the corners.

02 Rosette Grid — wine on bone. A tight, even grid; the quietest texture in the set.

03 Half-Drop Rosette — chalk on oxblood. The ground reversed: pale rosettes on deep red.

04 Rosette Trellis — oxblood & charcoal on bone. Rosettes pinned to a fine diagonal lattice.

05 Rosette Toss — oxblood on chalk. Mixed sizes scattered loosely; the most playful.

06 Rosette Stripe — wine & bone. Columns of rosettes beside bold wine stripes.

07 Rosette Medallion — bone on wine. Scalloped medallions on the darkest ground.

08 Rosette Ogee — oxblood & charcoal on bone. Rosettes between gently waving lines.

HOW IT'S MADE

I chose the motif, palette, selection and order and directed every design. The patterns are original geometric vector artwork built with AI-assisted code tools; no third-party artwork was used. Every tile is seam-checked.

Colours may look different on different screens and printers. Instant digital downloads can't be returned, but if a file is faulty or won't open, message me and I'll fix or resend it.
