Ferns are some of my favorite plants and I love seeing them growing wild along the paths of the forests.

You’ll need a skein of sock yarn (between 275-375 yards, depending on the size and length you make) and your favorite sock needles (I prefer using the “Magic Loop” method of knitting socks). You also might like to have handy your favorite mug of coffee or tea, a bouquet of flowers, or even a happy song list playing in the background.

The sample was knit with Cauldron’s Path Yarns Spiritus Terra in Bright Forest and used 275 yards.
