Plyometrics Power Project Training Plan
The Plyometrics Power Project is a 12-week, lower-body-focused program designed to develop speed, strength, and vertical jump performance using plyometric training principles.
The program is split into three phases:
- Foundation & Mechanics (Weeks 1–4) – Learn proper landing, takeoff mechanics, and build joint control.
- Power Development (Weeks 5–8) – Increase force output and jump height through structured plyometric progressions.
- Peak Explosiveness (Weeks 9–12) – Master advanced single-leg and reactive movements for maximum jump performance.
This program follows evidence-based principles like the Stretch–Shortening Cycle (SSC) and Rate of Force Development (RFD) — key mechanisms that teach your body to produce more force, faster.
In simpler terms: you’ll train your muscles and nervous system to explode powerfully and efficiently with every jump.
